Engaging with the Special Advocate for Survivors of Institutional Abuse

The Special Advocate is keen to hear from Survivors and Affected Persons and aims to use the issues shared with her to amplify and represent Survivor views to Government.

Who can Engage with the Special Advocate?

Patricia and the Special Advocate team of three staff, Alissa, Ruth and Rachel, are committed to ensuring the collective voices of Survivors and Affected People are heard.

Patricia welcomes meetings with individual Survivors, their families and with Survivor groups in Ireland and overseas.

The Special Advocate has also established connections with partner & support organisations in Ireland and overseas, and meets to discuss their work with those affected by institutional abuse and forced family separation.
