Since the establishment of the office of the Special Advocate in March 2024, Patricia and the team have been privileged to meet, speak to and connect with hundreds of Survivors and Affected People.
From these engagements, many expressed a clear wish for more opportunities to meet and build connections with other Survivors and Affected People and to foster a sense of community.
In response to this, the Special Advocate office is committed to organising Community event opportunities and initiatives for Survivors to come together.
